Aaron Collier's official score from the critically acclaimed play Frequencies by Aaron Collier with Francesca Ekwuyasi and Stewart Legere.

The nine instrumental electronic tracks uniquely explore time and perspective based on the frequencies of nature, humanity, and the universe. From listening to the rhythm of the sun and moon crossing our sky, to experiencing the way a bee might perceive time, to listening to the chord played by our solar system, each techno composition acts as a kind of experiment in seeing the world from a new perspective. Woven into this sound is the emotional context of Collier's childhood and family life, from his first interaction with a piano to a haunting life-long recurring dream. The result is a sonically rich and diverse selection of music that serves as both a celebration of and meditation on life and loss.

Aaron Collier Nova Scotia

Aaron Collier was born on Prince Edward Island in 1981, and is a multi-disciplinary musician and theatre artist. His work often explores themes of queerness, depression, self love, natural law and technology. He is the co-founder and technical director of Halifax-based live art company HEIST, and was the keyboardist and programmer for The Jimmy Swift Band and Scientists of Sound. ... more
